澳門東盟國際商會舉行就職典禮慶祝發展里程碑
Macao ASEAN International Chamber of Commerce Celebrates its Milestones with Inauguration Ceremony
慶祝中華人民共和國成立75週年、澳門特別行政區成立25週年、東盟國際商會成立15週年,暨第四屆理事會及監事會就職典禮今晚隆重舉行。
澳門東盟國際商會自成立以來,一直是連接澳門與東盟國家的重要橋樑,在促進澳門與東盟國家的經貿合作與文化交流等方面作出了積極貢獻。十五年間,商會組織會員及業界代表走訪了所有東盟國家,商會的工作成果得到了東盟國家有關部門和社會各界的認可。
出席典禮的行政長官代表、經濟財政司司長戴建業在致辭中表示,對澳門東盟國際商會成立以來所取得的成績表示充分肯定,對商會積極推動澳門與東盟國家的合作表示讚賞,並表達了對於商會成立十五周年的衷心祝福。商會主席陳海欽表示,習近平主席在澳門回歸祖國二十五周年視察澳門期間發表的重要講話明確提出,希望澳門着力打造更高水平對外開放平台,主動對接國家重大戰略,進一步加大雙向開放力度,積極投身高質量共建“一帶一路”,擴大國際“朋友圈”,這為商會未來的發展指明了方向,商會將會堅決貫徹落實習主席重要講話精神,發揮澳門獨特優勢和商會所長,將積極推動澳門與東盟國家全方位的合作走深走實,收穫更多合作成果。展望未來,陳海欽表示,商會將致力於繼續深化和東盟國家拓寬旅遊交流合作,同時大力推動東盟國際合作夥伴把握橫琴粵澳深度合作區的發展機遇,來橫琴深合區投資興業。
商會理事長黃玉詩在致辭中表示,商會成立十五年來,每年都積極組織推動搭建澳門與東盟國家合作的平台,包括連續15年每年都在澳門國際貿易投資展覽會(MIF)設立東盟國家館,以及在澳門國際環保合作發展論壇及展覽(MIECF)設立東盟國家展區,展示東盟國家的旅遊、文化、經貿發展等最新資訊,為推動澳門與東盟合作取得了豐碩成果。在向東盟國家推廣澳門方面,也一直得到澳門旅遊局的大力支持,讓更多東盟國家合作夥伴加入到與澳門合作的事業中。
全國政協副主席何厚鏵、澳門特別行政區行政長官代表、經濟財政司司長戴建業、外交部駐澳門特派員公署副特派員孫向陽、澳門特別行政區立法會主席高開賢,以及澳門中聯辦經濟部副部長楊全州,老撾、馬來西亞、印尼、新加坡、緬甸、泰國、柬埔寨及越南駐港澳總領事們,以及社會各界嘉賓出席典禮,場面熱鬧。
Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, and the 15th anniversary of the Macao ASEAN International Chamber of Commerce, the grand inauguration ceremony of the 4th Council of the Board of Directors and Supervisors took place on December 27, 2024.
Since its inception, the Macao ASEAN International Chamber of Commerce has played a pivotal role as a vital bridge between Macao and ASEAN nations, fostering positive contributions in economic, trade cooperation, and cultural exchanges. Over 15 years, the Chamber has facilitated visits to all ASEAN countries by its members and industry representatives, garnering recognition from relevant authorities and communities across ASEAN.
In his address at the ceremony, the Macao Chief Executive Representative and Secretary for Economy and Finance Mr. Tai Kin Yip commended the Chamber's achievements since its establishment, applauding its proactive role in advancing cooperation between Macao and ASEAN countries, while extending heartfelt congratulations on the Chamber's 15th anniversary. Chamber’s Chairman Mr. Kelvin Tan Hai Ching highlighted China’s President Xi Jinping's vision during his recent visit to Macao, emphasizing the need for Macao to elevate its external opening platform, align with national strategic initiatives, intensify bilateral openness, actively engage in the high-quality construction of the "One Belt, One Road," and expand its international network. This strategic direction sets a clear path for the Chamber's future development, promising a resolute commitment to implementing China’s President Xi's key principles and leveraging Macao's unique advantages and the Chamber's expertise to deepen and solidify comprehensive cooperation between Macao and ASEAN countries, yielding further collaborative achievements.
Looking ahead, Chamber’s Chairman Mr. Kelvin Tan Hai Ching expressed the Chamber's commitment to further enhancing tourism and travel exchanges with ASEAN nations, alongside robust promotion of ASEAN international partners to seize the development prospects and investment within the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
Chamber’s President, Ms. Joyce Wong Yuk Sze, reflected on the Chamber's 15-year journey, emphasizing its annual initiatives to bolster platforms for collaboration between Macao and ASEAN nations. Noteworthy efforts include the establishment of ASEAN country pavilions at the Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF) for 15 consecutive years and designated ASEAN country exhibition areas at the Macao International Environmental Co-operation Development Forum and Exhibition (MIECF), showcasing the latest insights on tourism, culture, and economic development across ASEAN countries. These endeavors have yielded substantial progress in advancing cooperation between Macao and ASEAN nations, with strong support from the Macao Government Tourism Office facilitating increased participation of ASEAN country partners in collaborative endeavors.
Distinguished guests including Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Ho Hau Wah, representatives of the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr. Tai Kin Yip, Deputy Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao, Sun Xiangyang, President of the Legislative Assembly of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr. Kou Hoi In, Deputy Minister of the Economic Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao, Mr. Yang Quanzhou, Consul Generals and its representatives of the Consulate General of Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam ,and esteemed guests from various sectors graced the ceremony, creating a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere.
